Review of Timeless Truth's Rejuvenating Bio Cellulose Eye Mask

As a personal fan of Timeless Truth face masks, I decided to spice up this review by not only choosing an eye mask but also trialling it on male skin. Cue my boyfriend as the guinea pig, an incredibly time challenged professional, that has little time or inclination to consider skin preservation.

Although there are male specific beauty products on the market, the industry is predominantly aimed at women and not enough exposure is given to products that work equally well on both gender skin types.

In our fast paced society, few of us have time to book into spas and beauty salons for professional treatments. Combine this with the patience level of the average man and you will be able to appreciate the significance of just how refreshing a rejuvenating product is that can be applied anywhere, home or office, and gives you a professional result in just 15 minutes.

The product I am reviewing is Timeless Truth’s Rejuvenating Bio Cellulose Eye Mask.

“The Rejuvenating Bio Cellulose Eye Mask helps reduce fine lines and Crow’s feet. Its special formulation of active ingredients aids the reduction of wrinkles and puffiness around the eye area. Its gentle action with Bio Cellulose cloth minimises the potential of skin irritation, leaving the skin moisturised and with increased elasticity.”

Upon opening the product, the eye masks are beautifully presented on a plastic tray, which is easy to slide out the packet without any messy wastage of the miracle serum, which is a very generous 5ml amount.

The serum is cool, light and silky to touch.

Before applying the mask, it’s important to cleanse and wash the face to ensure that skin receives the maximum effect from the product.

It's also important to see the before on the eye area, rather than just the after. This is prior to any cleansing or eye mask being applied.

That done, the next stage of the mask is to peel off the mesh fabric either side, so that you’re left with the mask itself, which feels like a silicone ‘second skin’ texture, rather like the Apple Collagen Bio Cellulose Mask, also by Timeless Truth, which I have previously reviewed.

Once the mesh is removed, it’s clear to see which way to apply each mask to the under eye area, due to the shaping.

If applying yourself, it’s best to look upwards and slide the mask under each eye, then look down, so your eyelashes are over the top. You can do it either way, eyelashes under or over, but if you have sensitive eyes or skin, it’s best to look up and put them under as your lashes then give a barrier to the product and it stays on the under eye skin only.

The mesh covering that comes off the eye masks is in the same shape, obviously, so I decided to improvise and because there was so much gel on there, place them below the eyebrow area so the eyelid had a treatment both sides.

This isn’t suggested or recommended but it worked very well for my handsome test subject.

So, we’re at the part of the ‘man review’. Man says.. well, man doesn’t say, yet I asked:

Me: Is it soothing and nice? Still cool? Boyfriend: Yes. It was cool but now feels warm and relaxing. Me: Is it relaxing? Boyfriend: Silence.. for someone had nodded off for at least 2 minutes.

So from that lack of answer, I can say first hand that this is a brilliant relaxation time for any fast paced individual that just wants a little, luxury, instant ‘me’ time.

After 20 minutes, I removed the eye masks, above and below, and gently massaged the remaining gel into the side of eye area, with a light patting motion, to give the most rejuvenating result.

The results were excellent.

I could instantly see a difference in the skin around the eye area and was surprised just how much it had tightened and lifted.

Several of these are required a month to maintain the appearance but from using just one, it’s clear to see the results.

I couldn’t recommend Timeless Truth masks more, without a doubt the very best brand and mask products to have ever hit the market. It allows people who couldn’t go out to a salon, to go to a salon but in the luxury of their own home.

An absolutely amazing product and I hope this is the start of men buying something that will suit them as much as their other halves.
